At Gigglepin 4×4, we have a vast experience of servicing all Land Rover type vehicles, from 1948 to present day. Our Up-rated service schedules supply greater levels of vehicle care than the standard Land Rover servicing offers. These specifically designed service schedules give our customers peace of mind and confidence in their vehicles.

SERVICING UNDER WARRANTY
If your vehicle is still covered by manufacturer’s warranty you can still have your car serviced by us at a fraction of the cost of the main dealer. Due to current fair trade laws, Main Dealers no longer have the monopoly on servicing. Simply state that your vehicle is in warranty when booking, and we will ensure we use the Genuine Land Rover parts required to maintain your warranty.
Series Land Rover 1948 - 1984
The Land Rover Series I, II, and III remain iconic vehicles, built with simplicity, durability, and off-road capability at their core. We have extensive experience working on these classic Land Rovers, whether they are in original factory condition, sympathetically restored, or modified for serious off-road use. Our servicing programme is designed to provide owners with peace of mind, ensuring their vehicle remains safe, reliable, and ready for adventure—whether on the road or tackling the roughest terrain.
Our enhanced annual service programme includes: engine oil & filter change, fuel & air filter change (where applicable), gearbox & transfer box oil change, replacement wiper blades, check & top-up (if required) of axle oils, steering, brake & clutch fluids, windscreen wash, brake inspection & clean, greasing of prop shafts and steering linkages, tappet adjustment, and a full 140-point vehicle check-over.

Defender 90/110 1984 - 2016 & Defender 2020 to Present
The Defender (including its earlier variants) is the mainstay of Land Rover’s utility vehicle market. We have a vast experience of working on this vehicle, in all its forms, from a standard road going car to full off road competition spec trucks. Our servicing program is designed to give the owner the peace of mind and the confidence that their vehicle is safe and reliable to carry on driving, whether it be on or off road.

Discovery 1, 2, 3, 4 & 5
The Discovery was introduced in 1989 to fill the ever increasing gap between the Defender and the Range Rover. This vehicle proved to be incredibly popular and in many ways saved the Land Rover brand from extinction. Now in its 5th generation, this marque is still going from strength to strength.

Freelander 1 & 2 and Early Evoque
The Freelander was introduced to the Land Rover family in 1997, aimed to compete in the ‘compact SUV’ market that had up until this point been dominated by the Japanese manufacturers. The Freelander went on to become Europe’s best selling 4WD up until 2002. An all new Freelander was introduced in 2006, known as the Freelander 2 (or ‘LR2’ in the USA).In 2008, Land Rover introduced the ‘Range Rover Evoque’, which was essentially a Freelander 2 with a different bodyshell. The Freelander name was finally dropped in 2015, to make way for the all new Discovery Sport and the Evoque was moved across to this all new platform.

Range Rover Evoque & Discovery Sport 2015 Onwards
Introduced in 2015, This all new platform hosts both the Discovery sport and the Range Rover Evoque. As such, these popular SUV’s are basically the same vehicles, with different bodyshells and performance profiles.

Range Rover Sport & Velar
The Range Rover Sport made its first appearance in late 2004. Although sitting on a modified version of the Discovery 3’s chassis, it was smaller than its sibling in every dimension with a wheelbase shorter by 140mm (5.5in). To this day, Its smaller dimensions and its raked roofline make it impossible to accommodate third-row occupants like its Discovery stablemate, but as a sports tourer it was never intended to be a seven-seater.
To this day, the Discovery and the ‘Sport share the same platform, and in 2017 were joined by the Range Rover Velar which features a lower, more car-like profile than its siblings, but still with all the off-road capabilities of the larger variants.

Range Rover 1970 - Present
The original Range Rover introduced in 1970 was not designed as a luxury-type 4×4. The early Range Rovers had fairly basic, utilitarian interiors that were designed to be washed down with a hose. Convenience features were fitted later. After 25 years from the introduction of the first-generation Range Rover, the second-generation Range Rover-model-designation P38A – was introduced for the 1995 model year. In 2002, the third-generation model – The L322 – was introduced which saw the model move further up-market. After 8 years, the L322 was re-vamped for the final three years of its tenure, but finally in 2013 the all new L405 was launched, ushering in a new level of comfort and refinement. Replaced in 2022 by the L460, the Range Rover continues to be the pinnacle of Luxury SUV.
